Privacy notice

Last updated 11 August 2026

PingDrop is in early access. The only thing collected right now is the email address you type into the signup form. This notice explains what happens to it.

What is collected

There is no advertising pixel, no cross-site tracker, and no cookie set by this site.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie, writes nothing to local storage, and builds no profile or identifier that follows you between sites or between visits. It reports aggregate numbers only: how many people looked at a page, which referrer sent them, roughly which country and device class.

Because it stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you, there is no consent banner to click. If you would rather not be counted at all, any content blocker that blocks static.cloudflareinsights.com, or your browser's Do Not Track setting, will stop the beacon loading. Nothing on the site breaks if you do. Cloudflare's privacy commitments are at cloudflare.com/web-analytics.

Why it is collected

The email address is used to send you one email when PingDrop launches, and to honour the early-access price lock. That is the entire purpose. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. Analytics exist to tell whether anyone is reading this; the legal basis is legitimate interest, and no personal data is involved.

Who it is shared with

Your address is stored with MailerLite, the email provider that sends the launch announcement. Their privacy policy is at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy. The site itself is served by Cloudflare, which also provides the analytics. Nothing is sold, rented, or passed to anyone else.

How long it is kept

Until you unsubscribe, or until the early-access list is retired after launch, whichever comes first.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, which also removes your address.

For anything else, email hello@pingdrop.dev and it will be handled by a human. There is only one. Every email gets a reply within one business day; the same promise applies to a deletion request as to a sales question.

Changes

If this notice changes before launch, the date at the top changes with it.
